Easy Basil Pesto
Basic basil pesto sauce to get started

Keto Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped Basil Leaves*
- 2-3 cloves Garlic
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil
- 1/3 cup Pine Nuts or Walnuts (Toasted)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese (1.5 oz)
- 1/2 tsp. Mineral Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
Keto Cooking
Wash and dry basil. Crush and chop garlic. Grate parmesan. Toast nuts on low/medium heat for about 10 minutes. For more information, learn how to toast nuts.
Mix all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Store in a closed container with plastic wrap to prevent browning from oxidation. Refrigerate for a few days. Pesto will go bad, so eat it sooner rather than later!
Freeze pesto in ice cube trays for long term storage. Remove the cubes from the tray and store them in a ziploc bag. Each cube is a little more than 1 tablespoon.
